TV program about computer artist. The configuration in my private Zagreb studio included a DAI (Data Application International) personal computer, SILVER video workstation by De Grafe and a 386 PC running Topas 3D animation software by Crystalgraphics. There are also some interesting details in this video like SILVER computer green menu screen in French and SILVER graphics tablet (relabeled Summagraphics 1201), FOR-A RGB to PAL composite video encoder, HiPad the Houston Instrument digitizer, DAI dual 5.25' floppy disk drive 160 KB each, Sony VO-2630 U-matic video recorder among other things. You can see a kind of tongue-in-cheek gesture at the end - the artist with background in Fine Arts and education in traditional painting draws a paintbrush to dust off the keyboard. Another funny thing is the opener. Actor was rehearsing on playback and watched himself on TV monitor while VTR was taping. Just when we were ready for the real take, the studio headmaster decided that this rehearsal is good enough for a mere art program because he was under incredible time pressure.
Therefore a weird recreation of Albrecht Durer. Few days after this program was on-air a young critic wrote in TV weekly (The 'Studio' magazine): - 'Very refreshing. It is good to see that TV can make a brave little step out of its conservative Art shell.'
